An agent is someone that you authorise and appoint for the purpose of filing specified documents on your behalf. You may either appoint an agent indefinitely, or for a fixed period.
Agents are appointed by their client as follows:
Once appointed, the agent is able to conduct transactions on behalf of their client as follows:
The individual agent has access to the ‘Individual Agent Role’ and will be able to login to submit transactions on behalf of their client(s).
The agency must designate the persons who will be logging in to transact business on behalf of the client(s). These persons are known as “Agency Employees”.
Once the Agency Employees have been added, they will have access to the ‘Agency Employee Role’ and be able to login to submit transactions on behalf of the clients of the agency.
Agents may be removed at any time by the client.
Each CRA role has a Transaction listing which records all applications submitted when using the role, or on your behalf. To view the information of a transaction, click on the transaction and a window will appear.
Payments are deducted from the agent’s account balance.
